L’Arc-en-Ciel’s 15th major label single, “HEAVEN’S DRIVE”, was released 18 years ago on April 21st, 1999, and ended up being one of their most popular singles, racking up over a million sales and topping the Oricon sales charts for 2 weeks in a row. The single’s B-side, a remix of “metropolis” known as the “android goes to sleep mix”, was created by yukihiro, and is one of the band’s longest songs, lasting 9 minutes and 59 seconds.
